Freescale’s TWR-MC-LV3PH is a low-voltage three-phase motor control module that provides a three-phase bridge inverter (6 MOSFETs), three-phase MOSFET gate drivers with overcurrent and undervoltage protection, and three-phase and DC busses , Input power supply voltage 12-24VDC, expandable to 50V, output current up to 8A, provides a variety of algorithms to control three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) and brushless DC (BLDC) motor, suitable for Tower System design. This article introduces The main features, block diagram and circuit diagram of the TWR-MC-LV3PH low voltage three-phase motor control module are presented.

The 3-phase Low Voltage Motor Control board (TWR-MC-LV3PH) is a peripheral Tower System Module with one of the available MCU tower module, accommodating a selected microcontroller, it provides a ready-made, software-development platform for one- third horsepower off‐line motors. Feedback signals are provided that allow a variety of algorithms to control 3‐phase PMSM and BLDC motors.
